Here is the link to the chicken processing plant in Lumber Bridge, NC. It is called Mountaire Farms. There are almost 100 Burmese working at this plant, many of them commute from the Triad area of North Carolina, others have relocated to Lumberton from all over the country
The plant is about 30 miles from Lumberton, about 20 miles from Fayetteville, NC. Just south of Fort Bragg. Here is a map.

The First Wesleyan Church has about 7 people working at this plant which is 138 miles from High Point. We know about 50 people working at the Purdue chicken plant in Rockingham, NC.

About johnmcmurphy
Jesus is first and foremost in my life. He is above all religions, principalities and powers. In everything He must increase and I must decrease. Into the hands of Jesus, God has placed life and death, truth and purity. strength and meaning. Only in a growing understanding of the triune God, and his son Jesus can I do, breathe, exist and serve.
I am a friend of the Lao First Wesleyan Church who is sponsoring families arriving from Burma.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Bible from Vennard College, a Master's in Social Science from Azusa Pacific University and a Ph. D. from Ohio State in Family Relations and Human Development.
