Myanmar Arrivals, Venison, Memorial Day

Memorial Wknd Deer

“God dropped that deer in our yard for the Burmese” is what my wife Kay said.   No it’s not Bambi or her mother.  It is a 3-year-old buck struck by a truck.  On Friday morning I was working in the back yard early and I saw some guys in a pickup truck stop in front of my house.   When I went out there later they had thrown a deer, they had hit, from the street into my yard.

After checking with the sheriff I called some Burmese friends (Aungn Mo [Amor], Eh Le Say [A Lay Say]. & Bah Blue Htoo “Tom”) to take care of things.  Suffice it to say many Burmese were enjoying venison throughout High Point during the Memorial Day weekend.
