New Burmese Arrivals

I would like to introduce to you some of our new Burmese arrivals.   The first picture is of Kyaw Eh Sue [Jah A Sue].  He is the brother of a brother-in-law of Rah Wah and of Ma Nay Htun (Be Aye’s wife).  He lives with Be Aye’s family on Ardale Drive.   He got here about three weeks ago.

The second picture is of Savy Hser Mu La and Wai Lin Do.  These gentlemen live on Marlboro St in a singles house including Eh K’lu, Muh Gaw Htoo and Ywa Hay Thar.  All of these Karen men understand English if you speak slow enough, Eh K’lu is a key translator for the household.  They arrived two weeks ago.

Last Saturday the Kyaw Wai family arrived.  This father of three uses a prosthetic leg because of a war injury.  They are (from left to right) Kaw Shar Doh, Kyaw Wai, Shar Sar Doh Paw, and Paw Ge Lay holding Kaw Law Eh Doh.  The little baby is just walking and is as cute as can be.

About johnmcmurphy

Jesus is first and foremost in my life. He is above all religions, principalities and powers. In everything He must increase and I must decrease. Into the hands of Jesus, God has placed life and death, truth and purity. strength and meaning. Only in a growing understanding of the triune God, and his son Jesus can I do, breathe, exist and serve. I have a Bachelor's degree in Bible from Vennard College, a Master's in Social Science from Azusa Pacific University and a Ph. D. from Ohio State in Family Relations and Human Development. I am an ordained pastor involved in cross-cultural ministry. I am currently employed at several colleges as an instructor. If you need to get in touch with me, just leave a comment, I screen all comments and so you can leave further contact information which I will erase before it is published. -John
