Several Folks Enjoying Snack on Juy 27

I have to tell this story.  On Sunday mornings the Lao/Burmese congregation prepares a snack for about 80-100 people who come to church.  This past Sunday, a mother of five decided she wanted to participate and brought in a big bag of grapes and other items for the snack.   I thought to myself, she has a big family and her husband must commute to work on his bicycle two miles a day.  What an expression of wanting to serve others by this woman.    But I want you to know, God can not be out given.

After church, one of the American women of our congregation came up to me and asked if there was a Burmese family who could use some fresh bananas.  She said they had bought them but remembered they would not be home for 6 hours.   They needed to be out of the heat, she wanted to give them away.  Right beside me was this Burmese mother who had brought the fresh fruit for snack!!!  Of course God knew who needed the bananas!
