Al Ream [Ah Rim] is here and she is praying and life is safer.   I believe God has set apart people for the ministry of prayer.   These individuals are used by Holy Spirit to lift up petitions to the throne of heaven.   These individuals are part of God’s divine plan of restraining the forces of evil in this world.  Al Ream is perhaps one of those people.

She has told her nephew, Peng Len Thak Bal, that if she does not pray she feels sufferings like Job.  So in the Chin area of Burma, she was always praying out loud in intercession for her people and for each of us in the world.   Then because it was not safe she went to Thailand and prayed.  Peng Len said it was not always good for her to be praying their either.  Then as she sought refuge in Malaysia she continued to pray.  The Chin people try to keep a low profile in Malaysia but not Al Ream, she walked about the neighborhoods praying, always interceeding.   Everybody became acquainted with this witness of the Lord and she prayed on their behalf.   What a precious gift God has given in such a prayer warrior.

Finally about two years ago she came to the land of the free, settling in Indianapolis where she can pray without ceasing and without fear.   Now she continues to pray for her people but also for the people of the United States.   Last Sunday in the car she was praying constantly as we made our way to church.  Then throughout the day she continued her intercession on behalf of the church.  Thank the Lord for Al Ream, having visited High Point, we will be often in her prayers as she returns to Indianapolis.

About johnmcmurphy

Jesus is first and foremost in my life. He is above all religions, principalities and powers. In everything He must increase and I must decrease. Into the hands of Jesus, God has placed life and death, truth and purity. strength and meaning. Only in a growing understanding of the triune God, and his son Jesus can I do, breathe, exist and serve. I have a Bachelor's degree in Bible from Vennard College, a Master's in Social Science from Azusa Pacific University and a Ph. D. from Ohio State in Family Relations and Human Development. I am an ordained pastor involved in cross-cultural ministry. I am currently employed at several colleges as an instructor.
