On Sunday, March 8 we got a report from H. C. Wilson that the Utica church has begun training ten men in a Wesleyan course of study to prepare to be missionaries at eight of the 9 Burmese refugee camps along the Thai/Burma border. This is one of the most exciting initiatives I have heard. They will be going to displaced people from a country that is 85% Buddhist to tell them about Jesus. For some of the refugees in the camps it will be the first time they have ever heard about Christ. Stay tuned for more information as we have updates.
