Somebody is Praying about Jobs
Frosintina called me this week and said, “Mister John, I am in trouble, I have three jobs and I don’t know what I should do.” She and her family had been praying about her getting a summer job and she started at a restaurant 2 weeks ago part time, applied for a full time position and got hired and was asked to start working at yet another place.
Her father also was asked by his boss at Flowers Bakery if he had a Burmese friend who could work at the bakery. Peng Len took two gentlemen to the bakery and they both were hired. When I come back to read this in years to come, I want to be reminded that God did this while we were in a great economic slump and with a high unemployment rate. Praise be to God!!
Pa Kler has learned how to play chess on the computer and is pretty absorbed with it these days. Now that their daughter is out of school for the summer he will be able to join his wife for classes at GTCC. He does not let his disability slow him down.
Nyein will be interviewed by Paul Coates at the Performing Arts event this Saturday night. Paul said, “You could make a movie out of his life story, after he visited with him”. Take a look at Nyein’s life story again, it was been updated with new material.
