At the Cross
Last Sunday night our pastor had erected a cross for our sanctuary. Each of us were invited to approach the cross and pound in a nail representing someone who we knew did not know the Lord as their personal Savior. As we pounded in the nails we committed to praying for this individual to become a believer. As individuals get saved we will tie a red ribbon onto our nail on the cross.
I put in a nail representative of several Burmese individuals that are trusting the teachings of Buddha for salvation. I believe this year can be a time of new hope as these individuals put aside all other gods and trust in Jesus as their only hope for present and future happiness.
