News from the Pews
Toe Toe arrived back in town about a month ago. He is La Nay Paw’s brother. Shortly after he arrived from Thailand, 3 years ago, he moved near Des Moines, Iowa and worked at pig slaughter house. Then he did the same in Minnesota for a while and then back in Iowa. He is now looking for work in our area and hopes to get papers in order to travel.
Lal Chhuan Thangi (the oldest son of Sante) graduated from Andrews High School in May and just got a job at Marsh cabinets. We how have 6-7 Burmese working there: Maung Ei, Bye Bye, Saw Leh Paw, Ko Saw, Ray Wah, and Lal Chhuan Thangi.
Nu Nu has returned from a trip to Maryland. She had to go back up there for diagnosis and to begin treatment of a hyper thyroid. Welcome home.
Roger Richardson recently preached in the Karen service. Kelly Toth is scheduled to preach for the Karen soon. Marcia Jobe will bring a message in that service later in August. I will preach in the Chin/Burmese service next Sunday.
