Can you read this?

ScriptureNeither can I.  Like many of you I can only read one language on this page.  However I thank God for the ministry tools created by Christian workers that allow us to see the Bible in the language of our birth.  Here are the links and sources from which I gather these translations.  Then it is just a matter of cutting and pasting to get the Bible ready to read while I speak.

English Bible study – E-sword.net.  Free Bible study tool.  A friend sent me the Burmese translation which can also be loaded into it.  You need to download then compiler and then each of the Bible study tools you desire,

Myanmar Bible Society.  They have an online Bible that allows you to put two translations side by side.  Sometimes I put up the English translation to make sure I am locating the correct passage.

Mizo Language.  This I first saw on the India Bible society.  It is a language shared by Mizo-Chin-Burma and a couple of states of India.

About johnmcmurphy

Jesus is first and foremost in my life. He is above all religions, principalities and powers. In everything He must increase and I must decrease. Into the hands of Jesus, God has placed life and death, truth and purity. strength and meaning. Only in a growing understanding of the triune God, and his son Jesus can I do, breathe, exist and serve. I have a Bachelor's degree in Bible from Vennard College, a Master's in Social Science from Azusa Pacific University and a Ph. D. from Ohio State in Family Relations and Human Development. I am an ordained pastor involved in cross-cultural ministry. I am currently employed at several colleges as an instructor. If you need to get in touch with me, just leave a comment, I screen all comments and so you can leave further contact information which I will erase before it is published. -John
