Sitt Linn Heh Visits High Point

Sitt Linn Heh has been visiting High Point this past week.  He is a Burmese minister who lives in Portland, Oregon.   During the week he has visited in many homes and seenDSC01985 over 15 people make a profession of faith in Christ.   Today I wanted to get together with him before he had to fly out of town.  I went to find him on Wise Street and when I got there Da Htoo who was transporting him,  said he was sharing the faith at a Karenni home.  I went across the street, slipped in and found him presenting the plan of salvation to Key Reh and his mother.  He had to take an interpreter to translate from Karen to Karenni.  Here are some clips of him in action as a missionary.  In the last clip they have prayed the sinner’s prayer and he is working with them to affirm their new found faith.

Early in the week Sitt Lin preached to the Chin group (Saturday night) and then the Karen group on Sunday afternoon.  Throughout the week he was doing just what you saw in the videos above.   Praise the Lord for this man with a missionaries heart.

About johnmcmurphy

Jesus is first and foremost in my life. He is above all religions, principalities and powers. In everything He must increase and I must decrease. Into the hands of Jesus, God has placed life and death, truth and purity. strength and meaning. Only in a growing understanding of the triune God, and his son Jesus can I do, breathe, exist and serve. I have a Bachelor's degree in Bible from Vennard College, a Master's in Social Science from Azusa Pacific University and a Ph. D. from Ohio State in Family Relations and Human Development. I am an ordained pastor involved in cross-cultural ministry. I am currently employed at several colleges as an instructor. If you need to get in touch with me, just leave a comment, I screen all comments and so you can leave further contact information which I will erase before it is published. -John
