Hobbies & Interests: Music, playing drums, singing, and computers

Favorite Food: Lao food

Favorite Book: More Than A Carpenter by Josh McDowell

Favorite Bible Verse: “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me — the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.” (Acts 20:24)

How I became a Christian: “I was born into a very strong Buddhist background. I spent three years studying Buddha’s teachings in the Buddhist temple, but I never become a Buddhist monk. I used to hate any other religion, especially Christianity. At age 26, June 1980, I escaped from the Communists to Thailand. I stayed in a refugee camp for about six months. During this time, I wanted to know about Jesus and went to church in Thailand. The Lord revealed Himself to me as the true God, and I understood that God was real and decided to commit my life to Him. The next Sunday, I accepted the Lord and was baptized.”

Specific ways that my church family can be praying: “Please pray for our family back in Laos for their salvation and spiritual life. Pray for the Laotians here in North Carolina to have an interest in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray for us as a church to grow spiritually and in number. Pray for me that one day I would be able to preach the Gospel throughout Laos freely, so all of our people could hear the Gospel and have salvation through faith in Christ.”
