Twe Luai is greatly Improved

Just got back from the hospital and I am greatly encouraged with the improvements.   His lungs are clear.  They removed the breathing tube.  They closed the facia of the wound (from earlier surgery).   What this means is that he is awake, alert, and responsive.  It will be a few more days until he can talk and eat (they will feed him through a tube for a few days).   He will probably be moved out of ICU in a day or two.

Continue to pray for the restoration of his kidneys.  They are not functioning properly yet.   Lift up his wife Twe Zing, she has been at the hospital round the clock for 2.5 weeks.   Many of the Chin community have kept vigil with her.   God is good and greatly to be praised!!!

UPDATE 12/10/13:   I saw Twe Luai last Thursday and  heard further reports over the weekend.  He is talking again and is beginning to take food by mouth he is no longer in intensive care.  Pray that he can come home soon.
